No al WRESTLING: Genitori Incapaci VS. Rey Mysterio
Leggo sul giornale di oggi (Il Corriere Mercantile che non ha fatto sciopero) che è in atto l'ennesima protesta contro il wrestling in prima serata, a seguito di una rissa scolastica avvenuta "ad imitazione dello spettacolo televisivo".
Lo temevo. Lo temevo da quando hanno cominciato a pubblicizzare le figurine fosforescenti di Smackdown, facendomi intuire quale fosse in realtà il target dello show.
Io ho 31 anni, e ho sempre visto sia il catch giapponese (Antonio Inoki e Tiger Mask vi dicono nulla?) sia il buon vecchio wrestling della WWF (ora WWE dopo aver perso una causa contro il Vu Vu Effe: che tristezza...)
Beh, che ci crediate o no in questi 20 anni non ho mai tentato un Irish Sweep o un salto dalla terza corda contro chichessia, amici o compagni di gioco, a casa o a scuola. Colpo di scena! "Ai miei tempi" tanto Dan Peterson quanto la WWF non avvisavano neppure di non ripetere ciò che si vede ("Don't try this at home...") nello show.
E allora?
Parafrasando Roger Meyers Jr., figlio del creatore di Grattachecca e Fichetto nei Simpson, ho fatto una scoperta eccezionale! Chiedendo a padri e nonni ho scoperto che i ragazzi si picchiavano a scuola prima ancora che il Wrestling nascesse! Come è possibile tutto questo? Perchè l'Italia ha partecipato a due guerre mondiali se sono solo pochi anni che questo male assoluto viene diffuso nell'etere dalla demoniaca scatola luminosa?
Scherzi a parte, i miei genitori avevano un'ottima abitudine quando ero piccolo: visionare insieme la prima puntata di ogni spettacolo televisivo che chiedevo di guardare (cosa non banale dal momento che erano entrambi lavoratori). Ricordo ancora il panico per il primo episodio di Goldrake, descritto dai giornali come una barbarie... ma approvato dal consiglio famigliare senza riserve già dalla prima puntata!
Poi si parlava... si parlava tanto, si chiedeva e si rispondeva, si spiegava e si discuteva, nel dubbio si guardava ancora insieme, e dopo questo percorso che probabilmente ai bambini di oggi può sembrare fantascienza ne veniva fuori un ragazzino consapevole del fatto che, se si gettava dal letto con il gomito contro un pupazzo a terra, il gomito probabilmente si rompeva; che la testa degli amici sbattuta sulle scale non era infrangibile come quella di Hulk Hogan, che l'Alabarda Spaziale era divertente ma una scopa sulla schieda di un amico lo era molto meno.
Insomma?
Insomma non riesco proprio a immaginare i miei genitori che lavoravano otto ore al giorno far parte di una "associazioni di genitori". I genitori non dovrebbero associarsi, non dovrebbero perdere il poco tempo che hanno in queste sciocchezze. Essere genitore non è come essere iscritto al club del bridge, non serve una tessera o un sito internet, è semplicemente necessario passare ogni minuto disponibile con i propri figli, ascoltando e rispondendo. Certo è che a volte può essere difficile, imbarazzante e di certo è più comodo latrare contro il wrestling o la televisione piuttosto che assumersi le proprie responsabilità.
Si potrebbe controbattere che non ho esperienza in questo senso non essendo io genitore. Però sono stato un figlio, un bambino con ottimi genitori. E ora so discernere il vero dalla finzione, il giusto dallo sbagliato.
Di tanto in tanto in macchina mi godo pure Marylin Manson e Cradle of Filth e non ho in curriculum nè un omicidio di religiosi nè profanazioni di chiese...
Miracolo? Scherzo di Natura? Bah... pensateci, intanto sono benveute le hate mail. Ho sempre sognato una pagina di hate mail per il mio sito!

Hai detto delle cose giuste…purtroppo non devi prendere la tua famiglia a modello e nemmeno quella di conoscenti, anche io non ho mai tentato mosse da wrestling su amici o altro, perchè viviamo in una società composta da un gran numero di menti, alcune ottime come i tuoi genitori altre bacate… Quindi la nostra società deve difendere anche i figli di chi non sà fare un genitore.
Il tuo discorso sarebbe ineccepibile se fossime in un mondo perfetto, poichè si tradurrebbe in “fai il genitore per bene e vedrai che tuo figlio si comporterà per bene”, purtroppo ci sarà sempre qualcuno ce non sarà in grado o non vorrà farlo il genitore per bene, per questo la nostra società deve tutelare i figli dei genitori non troppo capaci.
Anche il discorso “si picchiavano precedentemente alla messa in onda del programma di wrestling” non è giusto, poichè è provata che la visione di immagini violente ca

Credo che nessuno al mondo sia riuscito a fare un Irish Sweep…magari Wheep…a parte questo, da wrestler, arbitro e appassionato ti dico che solo chi non fa nulla si fa male e non ho mai visto durante un nostro show i bambini imitare quel che facevamo.
