Cosa spunta nel bel mezzo della passeggiata lungo il Tamigi, tra il London Bridge e il Tower Bridge, quest'ultimo inquadrato sullo sfondo?
Ma ovviamente è la trivella del Telectroscope, il sogno vittoriano della visione a distanza reso possibile poche settimane fa.
Un progetto perduto di un mastodontico tunnel sotto l'oceano risalente alla fine dell'800 è stato ritrovato e portato a termine collegando Londra e New York! Ma sarà proprio vero?

Grazie! Sono contento che ti sia piaciuta! Allora ti consiglio per cominciare il mio libro preferito in assoluto: Homunculus di James P. Blaylock, lo trovi su amazon. Evita il seguito Lord Kelvin’s Machine perché è una porcheria!! Poi l’immancabile “The difference engine” di Gibson e Sterling. Il gioco di cui parli è senza dubbio “The Chaos Engine” dei bitmap brothers!!!

grazie per i consigli! Ho già messo i libri nella mia whishlist in amazon.uk. Mitico “the chaos engine” e i Bitmap Brothers! Uno dei team di sviluppatori che amavo di più ai tempi d’oro! Quel gioco mi faceva volare con la fantasia e quanto mi sono divertito con “Speedball”!Tanto che io e i miei amici ci abbiamo giocato in una versione “reale” tutta nostra nel magazzino di mia nonna per un sacco! E che dire del Team17? Ah quelli si che erano tempi… (ora divento patetico);)

Non so se qualcuno lo ha già segnalato, ma la colonna sonora del telefilm inglese L’ispettore Barnaby, composta da Jim Parker, è stata realizzata utilizzando proprio il theremin. Ho scoperto la cosa leggendo FilmTv n. 28, in edicola… fino a ieri. Vale come avvistamento?
